My first book, written with my son Chris and called Kilimanjaro and Beyond: A Life-Changing Journey, has now been re-published under my Keep On Climbing Publishing banner. It chronicles the work needed to prepare ourselves for climbing Africa’s highest mountain and our subsequent efforts to help the kids of Africa. I’m very proud to say it’s the winner of two literary awards.

I’m honoured to see my book featured at the Nepean Branch of the Ottawa Public Library along with some great titles.

As I reflect on 2016, I have to say it has been a very satisfying year for me as an author. My new book, A Perilous Question, was released in May and won an award as the best crime novel in the e-book category shortly after. There were many book signings and new experiences in this new (to me) world of writing and publishing. I say they were new experiences even though A Perilous Question was my fourth book. I’m learning the business as I go, but I quickly discovered that of everything that revolves around  writing and publishing, the most satisfying is knowing that there are people out there reading and enjoying your books. Thank you very much to all of you and have a wonderful 2017.
